Interview with Paulo

Lureuma: What attracted you to Maine Legends FC and made you choose this club?
Paulo : Because it’s a team I believe will grow a lot. I see great potential in the club, and that motivates me to be part of its journey.
Lureuma: What are your expectations as you join the team?
Paulo : My expectations are very good. I’m confident that, together, we’ll have a great season and take the team to the next level.
Lureuma: How do you plan to contribute to the success of Maine Legends FC this season?
Paulo : I’ll contribute a lot this season, you can count on that. I’ll give my all both on and off the field to help the team grow.
Lureuma: How would you describe your playing style, and how do you think it fits with the club’s philosophy?
Paulo : My playing style is similar to Vini Jr.’s—lots of speed, dribbling, and creativity in attack. I think I’ll fit in very well with the club’s philosophy, bringing dynamism to the team.
Lureuma: What teams did you play for in Angola?
Paulo : In Angola, I played for several teams, including AFA (Academia de Futebol de Angola) and R10 Academy. These teams helped me develop my skills and grow as a player.
Lureuma: And what about in Maine? Which teams have you played for locally?
Paulo : Here in Maine, I’ve played for some local teams in Portland and Lewiston. I’ve been fortunate to be part of these communities, which have supported my growth and prepared me for the opportunity with Maine Legends FC.
Lureuma: What are the main challenges you foresee in integrating into a new team?
Paulo : The main challenge will be getting familiar with the other players. But I believe that, with time, we’ll build great chemistry.
Lureuma: How has your reception been from the other players and the coaching staff?
Paulo : I don’t know many people on the team yet, but I’m sure the reception will be warm.
Lureuma: What are your personal and professional goals during your journey with Maine Legends FC?
Paulo : My professional goal is to help the team grow and evolve even more. I want to leave my mark here and help the club achieve great success.
Lureuma: How do you think you can grow as a player and as a person by joining the team and the local community?
Paulo : I think I can grow a lot. Personal and professional life are different, and on the field, I’m a different person—focused and determined. Being part of the team and the local community will be an incredible learning opportunity.
Lureuma: What can the fans expect from you on and off the field?
Paulo : They can expect great things! I’ll give my all for the team and contribute a lot to Maine Legends FC’s success. I’m here to bring joy to the fans.
